Château de Courcillon is a castle built at the confluence of the Lon and Gravaux rivers. The oldest part of the castle dates back to 1087. The former square, having lost its defensive necessity, was reconstructed 2 times. During the reconstruction of the 17th century, 3 towers were demolished (in the place of which now there are terraces with amazing views of the nearby villages) and the so-called "new" part of the castle was completed. The second reconstruction (beginning of the 20th century) gave the castle electricity and sewerage. Château de Courcillon is currently the venue for exclusive private events.
